Thanks for your extension. I was trying to get this working in the context of a quarto document that leverages Typst to generate a PDF.

However, it errors-out with Shortcode 'badge' not found. I tried adding another _extension.yml file the level5 folder, pointing to the root _extensions.yml, but that doesn't help. Is there any suggested pattern to follow in terms of modification of the Typst templates that can enable quarto to pass-through this capability to Typst? I saw that another extension of yours quarto-highlight-text appears to work across different format types. Thanks for any guidance you might be able to offer.

The only supported format is html and I don't intend to extend it to other formats.

To be clear, you can make something similar for other formats, so you have several options:

• fork and extend on your own
• make a pull request
• make one extension on your own dedicated to Typst.

That would be something similar to https://github.com/mcanouil/quarto-highlight-text I guess.

But, since this extension was not intended initially for non html formats, the whole code design might not be well suited contrary to https://github.com/mcanouil/quarto-highlight-text
