+This folder contains a selection of 10 bat recordings for use as example data within the _Whombat_ project.
+
+## Source
+
+These recordings were sourced directly from [Xeno-canto](https://www.xeno-canto.org/), a website dedicated to sharing bird and other animal sounds.
+
+## Original Uploaders
+
+The recordings in this dataset were originally uploaded to Xeno-canto by:
+
+- Daniel J Buckley
+- Gloriana Chaverri
+
+## License
