When a Basket*Cluster interaction is selected on the Basket-Cluster Interactions page.
Click Feature Importance Analysis
The interaction term on the left panel is then lost, it resets to cluster 0, first tissue.

Not sure how to solve this. Some times the selection is kept (even if the drop-down menus reset the blue warning message shows that the selected interaction is kept) but other times this is lost even if they same steps are taken.

Can you give a sequence from scratch that shows both behaviours, i.e. start the app, perform some actions and the selection is lost sometimes and kept other times

After playing around with it, I realized that if the selection is chosen in a page, this is maintained within the subpages and tabs of the same page and when navigating to other pages. But the selection is lost if further navigating to a subpage of a second page rather than the first one. As the top menus implemented in the pages is not part of the original Streamlit package, I guess the implementation causes some partial reload of the widgets.
e.g. if in the Data exploration page, you navigate to the Samples information subpage and the Number of samples plot is splitted by response, then you navigate to the pYBasket results subpage and then come back to the first subpage, the plot has been initialized to show the data without the response grouping.
