DSC-TX1 support

Hello,

I've recently purchase an old DSC-TX1.

unfortunately it seems to be region locket to Japan and as a result everything is in Japanese which is not ideal.

I've tried to use the app tweak but am presented with this message:

I've attempted troubleshooting such as trying different usb port as well as using a new cable and am still met with the same error.
the sony PlayMemories program is also finding issues with it so am unsure of what the issue actually is.

any support would be greatly appreciated.
