After almost three years of no significant progress on rewriting the library with nan, various contributors (thanks @Sija!) helped to push out the new version. I was mostly done rewriting, but didn't have a camera to test my changes with.

Since five years I'm done with the photography project for which I initially started this library, and for my private photography a DSLR camera is just to big to carry around.

So here's my call to everyone who wants to see this project continued: Donate a few bucks so I can invest in new hardware for testing.
