@arcbtc Did anyone place any bets? I think you can't select a winner if nobody placed a bet on the winning option - in this case you would probably want to cancel the competition and refund.
Did you try refreshing the page?
Can you share more screenshots of all the information? (please also scroll right and left wherever the information is hidden).

Could not install on Python 3.9 without this small fix: oren-z0/bets4sats#9

I had it installed before it was called Bets4Sats and it still shows "Bookie" for me in left panel but in installable extensions its called Bets4Sats. Pulling manifest from main not from repo now so not sure if leftover from earlier or hidden somewhere in the code still.
Functionality works for me a described after set bets.

There were many changes to the Events project and syncing them into bets4sats is hard.
I also had some thoughts to scrap this entire project and re-write it as a Telegram/Nostr bot.

Many simple node operators don't know how to bypass their home NAT, nor have a domain.
The web UI interface makes sense for managing events (i.e. selling tickets in a website and holding a tablet at the entrance of the event to verify the users' tickets) but less to a what I had in mind. I want users to create casual bettings with friends on tiny amounts, and I want users to run their own nodes.

It would be useful if the LNBits UI only showed a field to set a Telegram token or Noster private-key, a list of users that communicated with the bot, and an option to choose one or more of the users as "bet managers".

Then, a bet manager could /create-competition (which will receive a random id), and other users could /join-competition and place some bets. After the initial setup, you won't need to log-in to your home LNBits every time you want to create a new competition.

Thanks anyways to anyone that reviewed my code. If you really want to do the refactoring and keep the web UI interface, feel free to take my code and do so.
