[BUG] RSS feeds stop working while Tailscale activate on unRAID 7.0 #373
Comments
Thanks for opening your first issue here! Be sure to follow the relevant issue templates, or risk having this issue marked as invalid. |
If this is the built in integration within unraid 7, I would suggest seeking support from them. It takes over the entrypoint of the container and changes a lot of it. The correct way to add the qbittorrent container to tailscale would be to use the sidecar solution. Just to note as well, I've got this plugin installed qbittorrent works fine along side it: |
That's the plugin, yes, but i'm not trying to integrate Taiscalde on my docker, i just want qbittorent to work. Maybe its the opposite, if i integrate it, via the apposite toggle on the edit page of the docker, it would remove this issue, but sincerely, i don't want to try, with the risk of broking everything. But ok, i would try seeking support from them. I wasn't sure at first. Sorry for bothering. |
Sounds like you've got some other configuration happening. I have qbittorrent running along side that plugin, no problem. |
Yep, I'm talking about Unraid 7 aswell. Don't use the use tailscale slider, it'll break stuff more. You can post your docker run but if there's nothing strange outside of that, I would suggest getting support from unraid directly. |
Good to know it break things. Lol Considering i can live without Tailscale, like i've done the past years, for now it's fine, RSS feeds are more important, even so, i should automate them via ARR suite, but i'm lazy and qBittorent help me be lazy. Lol |
The docker run command is given to you each time you deploy/update a container, unraid should have some documentation on it. |
Is there an existing issue for this?
Current Behavior
At first i was thinking it was a qBittorent issue, like usual, but today i just tried to be sure the behaviour was related to Tailscale.
I'm not sure if the issue is related to qBittorent, but i would post anyway. I'm thinking of posting it to the unRaid forum too, pls tell me if it's better this way.
unRAID 7.0 have a new feature related to Tailscale, it's integrated on the OS at deep level, even so you need to install a plugin from the community app, to have it work.
If i turn on Tailscale on my unRaid instance, it's all ok and no issue, but if i restart qBittorent, then the RSS feed stop working. It starts giving a red message on top saying "Fetching of RSS feeds is disabled now! You can enable it in application settings.", even if RSS feeds is enable like always, for me, and all the feeds i have give me a red X and don't update.
If i turn off Tailscale, no change, if i restart the docker, qBittorent start working again fine.
I haven't tried turning on the Tailscale add-on on the editing box of the docker on unRaid. I don't want to break even more my docker, i don't have backup working now.
Thx a lot for the support.
Expected Behavior
RSS feeds should still work, while restarting the qBittorent docker, while having Taiscale on.
