Describe the bug
Two entire screens went black (laptop monitor + external monitor in 'extend screen' mode). I needed to press the physical power button on the laptop to restart. After pressing the power button, the Ubuntu logo screen reading "Shutting down..." appeared and a normal shutdown took place.

To Reproduce
I clicked the 'Create' snapshot button. Immediately in the dialog that says n'Estimating system size...' with a progress bar, I clicked the 'Cancel' button. Upon clicking the 'Cancel' button in that specific dialog, the crash happened. Unfortunately I am no longer able to reproduce this bug. Maybe because I can not get the 'Estimating system size dialog' and it now immediately jumps to the 'Creating snapshot dialog'. Has it cached the system size so it can bypass the dialog that caused my crash?

Expected behavior
The 'create snapshot' dialog should have disappeared and my screens should not have gone entirely black.
