Contributing Guidelines for Crookshanks Academy Open Source Project

Ways to Contribute

There are various ways you can contribute to the project:

  2. Code Contributions: If you're a developer, you can contribute code improvements, bug fixes, and new features. Refer to the next section for details on how to submit a pull request.

  3. Documentation: Help improve the project's documentation by fixing typos, clarifying explanations, or adding new content.

Submitting Code Contributions

  1. Fork the repository by clicking the "Fork" button on the top right of the repository page.

  2. Clone your forked repository to your local machine:

    git clone https://github.com/your-username/crookshanks-academy.git
    
  3. Create a new branch for your changes:

    git checkout -b my-feature
    
  4. Make your changes and commit them with descriptive commit messages:

    git commit -m "Add new feature" -m "Description of changes..."
    
  5. Push your changes to your fork:

    git push origin my-feature
    
  6. Create a pull request by visiting the main repository and clicking on "Pull Requests." Then click "New Pull Request" to submit your changes.
