I have been gently pushing this effort around over the last few days. Too many small changes to write anything coherent about.

I believe things are beginning to settle down - at last. I hope in a day or two to ask you to have a look around. Of course you can look any time, but it may not be a good use of your time if lots of things change.

I do understand that the priority - here - relates to solar analysis and matter like that, but I feel certain that without some reasonable models and without effective navigation and editing tools that effort will not succeed.

BTW, I have also been working on 3D cartography. I am really looking forward to liming this work to the sun path algorithms.

I totally agree. Without an effective navigation it won't do the job. Back to the models I assume people will load their own models so if we have one or two models as default it should be quite enough.

That would be nice.

The issue is that dealing with user-loaded files is still a highly fragile affair.

There are many in-and-outs here. I will not feel comfortable with announcing solar path capabilities for peeps models until we have tested a good number of models and dealt with the issues.

Actually, I should be more blunt.There will be issues with peeps uploading models, I am just trying to consider the best ways to store models we are given access to and the proper procedures for bug-fixing. ;-)
