During our latest emcomm drill we just realized that PAT cannot initiate P2P connection. Since the theme of the drill was "total blackout" i.e. no internet, Pat has proven itself as useless in this type of scenario.

Hi,

Pat is fully capable of P2P. I's been supported since day 1.

Please provide more details.

Martin, it may well be capable of P2P, unfortunately you have no description anywhere in your docs that I read through all very carefully. Creating a P2P message is not the same as initiating P2P connection (even without a message, which is what we did in the beginning of our emcomm drill).
You spent lot of time to make a nice website, but unfortunately did not have time to write a proper documentation. The docs are poor, awful to be honest. There are many unimportant details but some crucial ones are missing.
And I don't consider a youtube video a "documentation", especialy when KM4ACK talks and talks and talks and the essence is difficult to find.
Could you please write down in two or three sentences how to initiate a P2P connection and add it to the docs?

P.S. the thread in the Google groups is an excellent example of the unclarity. Jeff KO4NCC asked something, and I don't think the answer he got was what he asked for, although it was a related topic.
You should explain very clearly, and in the docs, not in some obscure groups message, what has to be set and what exactly happens during the session when you want to initiate P2P connection.
As I wrote above, your docs really suck.
