Compatibility with biggerender chests

I have a mod on my server called Bigger Ender Chests. However, when I try to open an ender chest using the keybind or by right-clicking it in the air, it only opens the regular-sized ender chest. In contrast, if I place an ender chest down and open it the usual way, it displays the full six rows.
