Already there is logo.svg which is present as favicon for the UI.
Do need to change it to another logo ?
There is also KubeSteller.png in public directory.

The favicon works fine on chrome. It does not work on safari. I have seen this happen in the past with other applications. It might be caching on my side, but I tried with private browser in safari and I got the same "L" instead of the icon

To make favicon compatible with every browser we need to convert it into .ico version currently .svg
