I used the limactl script to install a VM with KubeStellar Core and 2 'remote' clusters on it. I was unable to use the UI to connect to the core for interrogation of ITS and WDS. I am able to see ITS and WDS when KubeStellar is installed directly on my host.

Hello @Shruti78, thank you for your interest. To get started, join the kubestellar-dev slack channel in the kubernetes org. Then, go to kubestellar.io documentation and do the "getting started" using the automated script, and then try the exercises/examples that follow. Once you have completed this, go to kubestellar/ui and clone the repo and run the backend and frontend according to the readme.md. If you can see the ITS and WDS, then you have successfully installed kubestellar and successfully installed and run the kubestellar ui.
when your done with installing both, let me know and I can connect you with others that are interested in this project and you can work out where you think you can make a contribution.

send screenshots to me on slack of the ITS, WDS and Kube info pages on the UI when you complete the exercise and then I know you are ready to start

@Shruti78 you are welcome to work on this specific issue if you like. We are unable to manage KubeStellar instance running in a VM from the host installed kubestellar ui.

@clubanderson, I am also interested in this project. I was contributor to Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2024, as well as contributed to CNCF Karmada and Zowe. Could I join the Slack channel to discuss the project further and ask any questions if I have doubts?

Hi @clubanderson,
I noticed this issue and would love to work on it. I've reviewed the details and believe I can contribute a fix. Before I start, I have a couple of questions:
Is this issue still relevant, or have there been any recent updates?
Are there any specific test cases or edge cases you’d like me to focus on?
If you’re okay with me taking this on, I’ll submit a pull request soon. Looking forward to your feedback!
