RVES-0.1

The RVES is a “R” package devoted to automatizing the interpretation of VES (Vertical Electrical Soundings) commonly used in groundwater exploration.

RVES allows to perform the followingt tasks:

• filtering of the apparent resistivity measurements (using smoothing splines, kernel regression and wavelet thresholding).
• Automatic inversion using nonlinear least squares, simulated annealing, genetic algorithms, particle swarm optimization and differential evolution.
