ahh i swapped over to BT connect M2 MacOS 15.3 and i just type in keyboard tester and turn on sound for any key depress and i can replicate random times it will keep kicking off some phantom depresses at rate that sounds half of what the dynamic macro output rate is? if that helps at all 😄

@pen_is_mightier that's...very interesting and suggests that we're doing something that is generating 'events' other than the ones you're typing, which could absolutely be causing buffer issues.
@pen_is_mightier One of the last things I did before I stopped making changes for the firmware that went onto the developer edition keyboards was to add sending an empty key report on connect or disconnect. I wonder if that's somehow getting triggered unexpectedly.
