That function is actually that small that it can be embedded here. The homedir module is no longer actively maintained. Moreover, there were some places in the bootloose code which didn't check properly for errors, potentially continuing using an empty path. Signed-off-by: Tom Wieczorek <twieczorek@mirantis.com>
