Exact wiring for external LED

Dear,

I just started my journey with ESP32 and for me with AI on the Edge to read my gasmeter.
My ESP also came "in the flavor" of an ESP32 CAM+ corresponding mainboard (which is a good start for flashing).
The next step for me would be to remove the mainboard and to add the corresponding external LED.
I really tried to understand the wiring diagram, however ... I failed.
The question that I have is how the 5V and the GND wiring is really done. In a 220V environment, I would use a Wago-element- but how can this be achieved with DuPont wiring?

I haven't done it myself, but looking at the documentation (https://jomjol.github.io/AI-on-the-edge-device-docs/External-LED/) it IMO should be clear. You need some WS2812 LEDs and must wire them to the GPIO 12 + power supply.
It would be possible to do it with the Dupont jumper wires, but much easier with soldering.

ich habe gerade in einem anderen Strang gesehen, dass Du auf Deutsch schreibst - das nutze ich mal für mich 😉
Danke für Deinen ersten Ansatz. Das grundsätzliche Konzept ist mir klar.
Aber beim Einbinden des Kondensators ist mir unklar, wie ich die Kabelführung mache - auf der Skizze verzweigen sich die Kabel einfach. Das würde ich im 220V-Umfeld durch WAGO-Klemmen umsetzen.
Die Frage ist also - wo bringe ich wieviele Kabel on oder wie realisiere ich diese Kabelaufsplittung (sei es nun gelötet oder über DuPont)?

Der Kondensator wird benötigt als Stütze/Buffer für die Speisung. Wenn Du z.B. die LED einschaltest, wird mehr Strom benötigt. Das führt dazu, dass die Spannung kurzzeitig etwas abfallen kann. Der Kondensator kann das etwas abfedern. Damit das funktioniert, muss der Kondensator so nahe wie möglich beim Verbraucher sein, also der Externen LED und dem ESP32-board.
Mit "Nahe" meine ich einige cm (Kabellänge).

Zum Ausprobieren kannst Du das schon mit Klemmen machen, aber die haben immer auch einen höheren Widerstand ( = mehr Spannungsabfall). Für etwas Fixes oder wenns empfindlich ist, solltest Du richtig löten.
