What's next to continuing this to close #10? I could take a look. But it looks like there's no clear guidance on how to handle gnulib. |

@six8 The architecture of gnulib makes it difficult to update when there's been large changes. If you have a requirement to use a very recent Bison release and also don't mind bringing in an Autotools dependency, then |

This is much more complicated than just building a new Bison because the Bazel build process fetches a tarball of an old gnulib, which does not match the included one and is too old for this new Bison.
