Need some form of user interface.

This may be where we end up with issues using pygame. The UI might only need to offer some very small functionality so dealing with all the problems that would arise with using a windowing framework with python (I am not skilled in any windowing frameworks, and I wonder about cross platform things)

There might be some UI's for pygame, but in my experience they have been crap.
