What Is bMotion

bMotion is a script for ​eggdrop bots designed to give them a bit of life and make their presence in the channel more interesting. It will make them talk and interact with your users and give them a personality of their own (hopefully).

What bMotion is not

bMotion is not quite a lot of things, but some of the things people often mistake it for are:

  • a database script
  • a fact storage/retreival script (although bMotion can sort of do this)
  • high in fat
  • AI (it's just a clever combination of rules and triggers)
  • like MegaHal, ALICE, or any other AI eggdrop module

What bMotion is

bMotion is a lot fewer things than it isn't. It is:

  • A loyal friend
  • A great source of entertainment
  • Excellent at opening jars with tight lids
  • Very, very random
  • My life's work (12 years and counting)
