Whisky is pretty much a working solution for itself it doesn't really need to be patched.
This is just for Crossover to put the latest features that either aren't yet in the current release or to add some hacks that won't be added because too dirty, (see UE4 hack for dxvk)

@ohaponiuk theres nothing stopping Whisky from implementing the same features added by CXPatcher.

The driving force behind CXPatcher is to unofficially improve CrossOver so there’s continued development for wine on macOS, without CrossOver we’d have no wine on macOS.
