Total War Rome 2 isdone.dll installation error #162
Comments
Ok potential workaround i've found is install the game using unpatched crossover, then patch it but disable the using different path for bottle. Then the game should run fine now. |
using D3DMetal somehow sets my graphics to gtx 470 ingame for some reason. The game does not recognize the mac m2 graphics chip, which forces it to use a really bad shader for the game as shader 3 is the only one available for gtx 470. The graphics are absolutely terrible, even when set on extreme. |
using DXVK will crash the game, so im forced to use D3DMetal. Does anyone know a work around to force it to recognize mac m2's chip? |
Everyone seems to fix those issues by repatching a fresh download of cx 23.7 and creating a new bottle. try that. |
The only references I’ve found on |
I'm using vanilla crossover 24 and found similar issues about crash during the campaign (end/start turn/battle) |
I’ve not checked in sometime but I believe that MoltenVK latest from CXPatcher is stock so your indeed have issues with UE4/5 games unlike with the default version of MoltenVK provided by CXPatcher. |
When i use unpatched crossover 23.7, the installation runs fine and it installs the game, but crashes upon starting the campaign and running benchmark. I then patched crossover using the latest CXPatcher, and deleted the bottle to reinstall. When i reinstall it, the installation gets the isdone.dll unarc.dll error and fails to install.
