Beta - power and cadence only, no speed, addresses connection, reset, and power issues on certain devices
Power and cadence beta with fix for Garmin Epix/Fenix beta 16.13 and all Fenix 6/6S models. This release contains updated clock parameters which resolve issues with the Fenix 6 as well as now handling a new message presented by the Epix/Fenix beta 16.13 that caused the device to continually reset.
This is created to address issues seen on the Epix (gen2)/Fenix 7 and Fenix 6/6S. If you're not having issues then there's no need to update.
Beta - speed and cadence only, no power
This beta release makes DFC act like a speed and cadence sensor only - no power data is sent. It is provided for use with devices like the Garmin Venu and Instinct which are not compatible with power meters.
Unless you have a device that doesn't support power meters or you really just want speed and cadence info you're better off sticking with the production release instead of this one.
If you've used your device with the production firmware already then you may need to remove DFC from your device's sensor list and add it back in or it may not be recognized since it behaves like a new type of sensor with this firmware.
