Why?

  • On RedHat systems python packages are typically stored in a different directory as pip packages
  • The generatable package falls in line with the official packaging standards and deploy paths
  • The package falls in line with other equivalent packages like python3-certbot-dns-cloudflare

Tested?

  • Tested on Fedora Server 38

Requirements

This package requires the package python3-pkb-client to operate which also has a PullRequest with an equivalent Makefile as build script.
