Monday 26/04/2021 Teams meeting (Just4Giving app)

Landing page :

• It is important to include sign-in , sign-up.

• Some information about the app and how people can help , who are the users (people in need).

• It can includes also latest items without any giver personal information.

Sign-in :

• Is important to sign-in in order to contact the user (giver) more privacy!! some people are really serious.

• It is more secure and it will be better for the app to have more users .

Languages section :

• It is very good idea , but we can put it down on the user stories if we have time we will do it!!

Main goal :

• Our main goal should be a working app , that app is not easy it will take a lot of time.

UX/UI :

• It is up to you Anisya , but it is really a great idea to have a wireframe or sketch for the app , it is cheap and easy to create and it will help us to see the final design , give some suggestions. (note: you can use our ideas in the Figma file and organize them if you think they are useful).

Front-End :

• You can decide the technology you would like to use , but since you don't have a good experience with React and since Bermarte and I not working on the front-end ,it will be difficult to use it ,   better to use Vanilla JavaScript. Bermarte will be mentoring the front-end and in case you blocked Samir will be helping too.

back-end :

• Sure we will use node.js , express . it shouldn't be a problem.

• For the database , I think using SQLite is not ideal , maybe using MySQL , or postgreSQL.

• Samir will do the database and will be mentoring the back-end.

DevOps :

• We will deploy on Heroku , Samir will be responsible for testing and continuous deployment.

• Do more brainstorming, pop up some crazy ideas and then later make them concrete.

• Write down every thought, idea of the persona (interview the user).

• Maybe narrowing the target? not too abroad.

• If the target is old people then you should have bigger font , bigger UI.

• Think more about the different categories Clothes , (food maybe not a good idea).

• Categories are fixed or the user can add more categories ??

• The logo is good, the solidarity feel is appears from the logo but maybe the font could be smaller.

• Make different logo versions , the logo need to be good even for very small size 16 px (normal small logo).

• Think also about geo-location, take the address.

• Use Wiki to organize all your project
