Introduction

PianoBQ (Beginer Qt version) checks that the pianist is pressing only the correct keys in a sequence specified in a MIDI file.

Functionality

• graphics view of the staff with note leters
• storing and viewing of the fingering
• step and page scrolling back and forth
• playing the current midi file at different speeds
• a library where tunes are grouped by category
• rehearsing part of the tune by selecting its beginning and end
• storing the parts of each tune for subsequent rehearsals
• separating left hand notes and right hand notes utilizing different channels
• rehearsal for left or right hand only
• the other hand may be played when one hand is rehearsed
