The system is running normally.

Same behavior here. Tried to install the update, system was unavailable for about 30 minutes until I disconnected the power supply and it came back to 14.1.
For the next update I will try a reboot of the Pi5 first. Maybe this will help...

Same here with Raspberry Pi 5, OS upgrade got stuck, after power disconnect/reconnect it rolled back to 14.1.

USB devices stopped working after update to 14.2 on rpi4-64, downgraded to 14.1 and devices worked again (zigbee and DSMR Smart Meter)

Update seemed to fail I pressed the update button and went to bed. When i woke up HA was still running fine but failed to do the update, still running on OS 14.1.

I did not had to manually reboot the PI though as other have mentioned. (PI5)

Same issues as other are stating here on a Pi5. I tried 3 times to update from 14.1 to 14.2. After the update it reloads and takes a good 30 minutes or more to come back up at which time I get SSL handshake errors. I then hard power cycle the Pi and then it will come back up, and still on 14.1. No custom integrations, all basic things.

Stuck there. Not booting. If I plug or unplug usb device, I can see it on screen. Problem since 14.0 (on 13.X - kernel panic and reboot)

Also have troubles with this one.
Couldn't reboot, had to do 3 hard reboot of the host to log in HA but things broke anyway...

Running HAOS in virtual machine manager on a synology NAS. 14.1 worked fine, 14.2 just doesn't.
Tried to revert to 14.1 using CLI os update --version 14.1
Broke one integration (I don't why just this one), Netatmo that controls my covers.
