Hey @tkriener, thanks for your message. As you already mentioned, there're many ways to run ProxLB. You can run it on one or more Proxmox nodes, you can run it on a dedicated VM or container, you can run it inside the cluster or somewhere else. When running inside the cluster as a VM or container, it would also rebalance itself - the API gets the command to rebalance the orchestrating VM and then simply goes ahead. So, it's simply about you and what fits best to you. You already had the right idea that it could become problematic when multiple instances doing concurrent actions. To espeically avoid this, you can simply add the option Hope this helps! Cheers, |

Hello,
I'm unsure, where and how to install ProxLB and I did not really find any best practices so far.
Is it common to install it on all Cluster Members and activate the Daemon on just one to prevent two instances of taken concurrent actions or do I need to install it outside of the Cluster? But then the GUI-Integration won't make sense, right?
If I install it in a Container or VM in the Cluster, would ProxLB be able to move itself during Cluster-Updates?
If I missed something in the documentation, I would be happy if someone points me to the right part.
Thanks in advance,
Thomas
