Implement data gatherer

I want to separate the gathering display parts of the tool, So the gatherer will grab what information it can and add it to a database, then the visualisation parts can access it from there. The gatherers should be modular so they can be written seperately.

This will initially grab network interface information, but eventually should get:

• name spaces;
• interfaces;
• bridges;
• routing information;
• ???
