Append to an encrypted file

Hi

We are experiencing when writing to new files that are created during enclave life time. They are always "truncated".

Pseduo code

1. Create or append txt to file "hello world"
2. File read returns "hello world"
3. Create or append txt to file "hello world"
4. File read returns "hello world" and not "hello world helloworld"

Are there anything one should be aware when working with encrypted files?

further test shows shows this pattern:

1. add text "hello world"
2. add text "monkey"

give this result "monkeyworld"

This looks like a bug for sure. @kailun-qin Can you please take a look.

@nmwael: May I know which version of Gramine you were testing with? We have a PR that was made after the 1.8 release: #1935, which adds O_APPEND emulation for single process.

Of course, I thought it was a misunderstanding on my side, it's 1.7
