I am seeking guidance on the best way to implement custom AIP rules. https://github.com/aip-dev/google.aip.dev specificlly has provisions for forking to create customization, using the 9000-block, of API design rules. It only makes sense that a complimentary piece of it be to support extending the api-linter to enforce the rule, if possible.
My first thought is just for this repo adjust when needed but is that the way it was intend to be consumed for customization?
