Nikon Z Cameras #171

Thank you for raising a discussion topic, it is certainly an interesting question with an interesting answer.
The control protocols for each manufacturer are distinctly different, thus the Fujifilm implementation will not apply to the Nikon system. And as I have discovered, even within the same manufacturer different cameras operate differently. Further to this, I have recently acquired a Nikon Coolpix B600 for implementing support. However, the Nikon remote situation is bizarre, to put it politely. According to Nikon's documentation: the matrix of app vs ML-L7 support is perplexing.
Agreed. It would be less irritating if the apps weren't terrible quality. I'm in the midst of understanding the operation of the Nikon ML-L7 and the Coolpix B600. |

Hi
A friend has just got a Nikon Z8 and he found they too have no wireless remotes that don't need a receiver unit
Would the fuji one be able to work with it?
its strange how these modern cameras just rely on apps on your ophone
thanks
Adrian
