Elasticsearch Java client returns 0.0 for metrics (avg, max, min, ...) instead of NAN or INIFINITY #972

  • Supposedly you apply a metric (avg) on field F1.
  • If all the documents included in the avg calculation don't have the F1 field
  • The elasticsearch client returns 0.0 instead of NAN or INIFINITY
