I notice that there's a currently maintained fork of dro2midi here: https://github.com/Malvineous/dro2midi

Consider contributing the changes you made to dro2midi there?

Unfortunately, the changes I made were hacky and specific to special cases in Wolf3D (read: the code is ugly). Integrating my changes to the main dro2midi will require some engineering for consistent use with other IMF-using games. It's technically doable, but I currently don't have time for it.
