Prior to 2017, theses and dissertations submitted to ETD were searchable in the Emory Library Catalog with their ETD location. Since the migration to the new platform, the ETD repository is no longer findable by the Catalog. Only dissertations submitted to ProQuest show up in the Catalog, and their ETD location is not listed.

Describe the solution you'd like
A clear and concise description of what you want to happen.

When records publish in the ETD repository, they should be searchable in the Emory Catalog, which will link to the ETD location, not just ProQuest.

Describe alternatives you've considered
A clear and concise description of any alternative solutions or workarounds you've considered.

How will this impact users?
A clear and concise description of how many and which types of users would benefit from this feature, or any who may be negatively impacted by the change.

Records will be more findable, especially theses that are not submitted to ProQuest, and the use of the ETD repository will grow as the search engine will point researchers to the site.
