[Feature]: Delete duplicate classification #117
Comments
Sorry, I'm french and I don't get what you want, can you reformulate or explain more ? |
Haha now worries. So there‘s an entite duplicate folder. In duplicate finder it shows several images that are in both these folders. Now, as deleting every single file via the duplicate finder is way more complicated and time consuming, I delete one entire folder via the files interface. Duplicate finder will still show the duplicate files of those folders because they weren‘t deleted via the duplicate finder interface. If I delete all duplicate classifications via the duplicate settings, I have to reacknowledge all files so I‘d prefer to just delete those duplicate classifications of that specific folder. |
I believe I've fixed the issue: now, duplicates that are deleted outside of Duplicate Finder (in "files") will also be removed from the duplicates list in Duplicate Finder. (This was already happening before, but the list was updated through background jobs. Now it will be updated instantly starting from version 1.6.0.) Could you confirm if this addresses your request? |
Exactly! |

Is your feature request related to a problem?
Sometimes, when processing some duplicates, I realize an entire folder is duplicated so I go into my files, delete one of those folders and then go back to duplicate finder. However then, I can only acknowledge it and afterwards it's still listed in the "acknowledged" section, even though one doesn't exist anymore.
Describe the solution you'd like
I'd like to be able to remove a duplicate classification so that classification is neither listed in acknowledged nor anywhere else in Duplicate Finder. If that duplicate is found in another background job, that's totally fine and it can be shown again if you ask me.
