This file describes how to install SM/Editor program

PREREQUISITES
    X-Windows Release 5 and Motif 1.2

    SM/Editor has been compiled and tested on the following platforms:

    Sun Sparc (SunOS 4.1.x/Solaris 2.x)

INSTALLATION

    You need X Window System 11 Release 5 and OSF/Motif 1.2
    to install SM/Editor.

1. Do "xmkmf".
    > xmkmf
2. make
    > make
3. Install
    > make install
4. set SMED_HELP  environment value
   > SMED_HELP=/usr/lib/X11; export SMED_PATH
   Defualt path is '/usr/lib/X11'
