Communications using separate domains?

I'm trying to figure out why two particpants, a pub and a sub, on the same hose are able to communicate using these settings. I thought being on different domains would not allow them to see each other. Can anyone explain?

The domainId XML tag is only taken into consideration if create_participant_with_profile() is called. Otherwise, domainId has to be explicitly passed to create_participant(). Further information regarding XML Participant profiles can be found here.

Thanks, that helped me find the issue. I was using create_participant_with_profile(), but was passing in 0 as the first argument and thereby using the wrong sig.
