After deployment the dashboard is not updated to the latest version. #7810

I have an app already deployed to a test environment with Aspire version 9.0.0, I updated Aspire from version 9.0.0 to 9.1.0 and deployed again through the command "azd up". The version of the dashboard was not updated, is this a bug or am I missing something? |

The dashboard is not deployed when you deploy the application to Azure. The team that runs azure container apps is responsible to updating their version of the dashboard (which hasn't happened as yet). |

I'd like to promote the idea that it should be. After a deluge of "instrument your app with OpenTelemetry" posts for the last two years, nobody mentioned that there is no self hosted all-in-one viewer for that data. You can deploy a graphing solution, a logging solution and such, or pony up for AppInsights but having an open source self hosted dashboard and viewer for metrics and traces is such a perfect spot for Aspire to grow beyond a local dev tool into an OSS hero. |
