This is a great question, @carlosharrycrf. As of today, workloads don't have an easy built-in way to "pin" a specific version, but there has been a lot of thinking in this area so I can share some info that you may find interesting.

  • First, I want to start with a way to select a specific workload today. While there is not an easy way to install a specific version of a workload (since by default they will always try to install the latest), there is a built-in way that can act as a "hammer" in order to make sure that you have the version that you want installed, even if it's not the latest.
