receiver_zero

Control your computer remotely using Python3 (Python 3.5.4). Useful for building remote apps and remote automation software. Can interface with any software, language or system that supports sockets.

This software is auto authenticating, meaning the first time a new IP attempts a connection you will need physical access to the host machine to approve the IP for future connections. The whitelist is also stored an a text file for easy editing. BECAUSE OF THIS, THERE IS A POTENTIAL SECURITY ISSUE IF YOUR NETWORK USES DYNAMIC IPs.

GUI IS NOW AVAILABLE BUT MAY NOT BE FULLY DOCUMENTED.

USE CAUTION WHEN OPERATING THIS SOFTWARE ON NETWORKS THAT YOU DO NOT TRUST OR CONTROL.

depends on

pyautogui

pip install pyautogui

Building the software to an exe requires pyinstaller

pip install pyinstaller

usage

GUI

Install tkinter with something like:

sudo apt install python3-tk

Then run app/gui.py with something like:

python3 gui.py

Click on the "Start" button to start the server.

CLI

Run app/cli.py with something like:

python3 cli.py

The server takes incoming commands and executes them on your host machine using pyautogui.

To test the server, you can run the example test_client/client.py with something like:

python client.py

commands

receiver_zero uses a very simple syntax for it's commands. All commands also work in UPPERCASE.

Send commands to the server in utf-8 format via a TCP Socket Connection. See the code in test_client/client.py for an example.

typing out a string:

type Here is some text to type!

or

t Here is some more text to type!

press a single key:

press f6

or

p down

press a key combo (hotkey):

h ctrl c

or

hotkey ctrl v

The hotkey command can only accept two key values at this time.

multiple commands:

To chain together multiple commands simply separate them with && for example:

p f6&&t https://www.github.com&&p enter

These commands will be executed synchronously.

A full list of key commands is available here: (also found at http://pyautogui.readthedocs.io/en/latest/keyboard.html)
