To set up the project locally, follow these steps:
Clone the repository to your local machine
git clone https://github.com/user/e-commerce-project.git
Create a virtual environment and activate it
python -m venv ecommerce-env source ecommerce-env/bin/activate
Install the requirements
pip install -r requirements.txt
Set up the database
python manage.py makemigrations python manage.py migrate
Create a superuser
python manage.py createsuperuser
Run the server and visit the site at http://localhost:8000
python manage.py runserver
Install Docker on your machine.
Clone the project repository:
git clone https://github.com/user/e-commerce-project.git
Navigate to the project directory:
cd PROJECT_NAME
Build the Docker image:
docker build -t PROJECT_NAME .
Run the Docker container:
docker run -p 8000:8000 PROJECT_NAME
Open your web browser and go to http://localhost:8000 to view the project.
To stop the Docker container, press CTRL + C in the terminal.
