Version 1.7.0 is a mandatory upgrade. It will have a fork at block 540000 (about two weeks from the date released).

Version 1.7.0 provides improved DeepVault (instant verification, verification no need to unlock wallet, prevent duplicate registration etc). And after the fork at block 540000, the release will

  • Enable the Stealth Address
  • Lower the base fee from 0.001 to 0.0001

This release also provides following improvements:

  • Tor upgrade to latest version (0.3.4.0-alpha-dev)
  • Debug window font size adjustment
  • Control of debug logging
  • uptime console function
  • option to open from the wallet the configure file on your default editor
  • export stealth addresses (after stealth address is enabled)
  • several bug fixes
