The purpose of the project proposal "Dream Team" is to find the optimal team setup for success in Fantasy Football. The dataset being used will be from a Fantasy Football Pros database that contains the information and records for every player. From this data the group hopes to develop a model or system that can use the information provided to give good team builds.

I like that this project has a practical and tangible purpose. Anyone can play Fantasy Football, and using the results of this model will not take much resources or effort, making it quite useful. I also like that there is a way to determine the success of the model, as the goals are tangible and the data to try the model against exists. There is also the benefit of having a clean and simple dataset that does not require as much outside context or additional info owing to the subject matter.

One improvement would be to better outline and detail how the data will be used. While the proposal outlines the breadth and range of the data, little is mentioned as to what the factors are or areas the project will be focused on analyzing. Another note is the age of the data, stats for Fantasy Football is updated every year and easily accessible, perhaps the project should encompass data leading all the way up to the most recent year (likely 2019). Also it is stated that you will use the data to back test your model that you have developed from the very same data. You may need to put in further detail and thought into how that would work.
