I've been using this integration for a few months and it's been working well. Last week I acquired a second LEAF and have added this to the integration as a second entry (the new car is using a different Nissan account to the old one). This creates a new device for the second car but with no entities. After leaving both cars set up for a day, the entities moved from the old car to the new one, so at first I could only see the old car and now I can only see the new one.

Is there any way of using the integration to see both cars at the same time. (It's possible to add two cars to the same Nissan account in the Nissan app. When I did this the second car wasn't found by the integration - also I'd prefer them to be in separate accounts).

As you see from the weird behaviour it should work but I've never tested it. Would you mind emailing me (address on my GitHub profile), and I can work on it with you directly.

This should be fixed under v0.6.0-beta.1. Would you mind trying it out?

I'd recommend removing all NissanConnect accounts first, then re-configuring them.

v0.6.0-beta.1 works with two cars for me, thanks! I removed my NissanConnect account before restarting Home Assistant and followed the UI to add again without issue.

@cameronmarklewis glad it’s working for you! Just to confirm, is that two cars in one account or two separate accounts?

@chemicalandy I’d recommend using HACS to manage updates. Within HACS, you just need to find the integration from the HACS UI, click re-download and choose the beta. If you’re doing it manually:

  1. Delete the nissan_connect folder from custom_components in your installation. There’s no configuration stored in here, so it’s safe to do so.
  2. Download the beta version from here
  3. Copy the custom_components/nissan_connect folder from the zip file to the custom_components folder in home assistant

I’ll take another look at the code tomorrow to see if I can spot anything else that might be causing an issue.

Two cars in one account, in the previous version only one car loaded. All seems to be working too, heating/ flash lights etc happens on the correct car.

Great news @chemicalandy. I'll put that out in a proper release some time this week (it's been a hectic one!). Could you and @cameronmarklewis please let me know if you have any issues with the multi car support (multiple accounts and multiple cars on one account respectively), as this isn't something I can test.
