We currently have one r-ver/tidyverse - based container image for rendering

  • the final report
  • the manuscript from a separate branch

Only the later requires LaTeX so we could define separate container images for each of the two tasks.

In addition, the r-ver/tidyverse image includes 350 MB (uncompressed) rstudio server which is not needed for either task.
