Missing 3D Secure capability

It would seem that Worldpay support 3D Secure, which is a legal requirement for merchants due to the SCA legislation (https://www.barclaycard.co.uk/business/news-and-insights/strong-customer-authentication-sca). However, this plugin doesn't currently support 3DS.

Is this something which is scheduled for the future?

@lukeholder we have a customer that is keen on switching to Worldpay. I noticed that even in Commerce 3 there is still no SCA compliance with 3D secure in the Commerce plugin.

Given the lack of input on this issue, is this something that is effectively shelved? Do we have to rely on a different payment provider to support 3D secure?

What is the overall status of this issue and the plugin as a whole, in terms of WorldPay integration and SCA compliance?

This plugin uses the open-source Omnipay Worldpay library for its integration with Worldpay.

Unfortunately, this library does not currently support the 3D secure features available in the Worldpay Online Payments API.

There is an issue for this in the repo: thephpleague/omnipay-worldpay#41

We will keep things updated whenever there is any progress with this feature.

Hey, is there any news on this? This is not a feature enhancement as such, it is required for payments to work at all above a certain value (£200?) in the UK and I suspect the EU

Worldpay have stated that the json integration has been retired, it is likely this plugin will need to be remade for the more up to date integrations.

I know we have a couple of clients who on raising moving to another gateway were very much against it which is going to cause us problems going forward, so we'd be interested in seeing this updated (or Bens Worldpay access released).
