Will there be training videos forth coming about adanced configuration such as LDAP/LDAPS, "best practices" with deploying Malcolm...?

The training via youtube has been a tremendous advancement. Are there other planned videos for education, or do you need suggestions?

Administrative Examples,
if ACME signal company deploys Malcolm, what are the steps to configure LDAP/LDAPS for authentication to Malcolm?
if ACME signal company previously deployed Malcolm, and wants to do quarterly updates, what is the procedure?
if ACME signal company is 100% air gapped network, how can updates be applied/installed to an existing Malcolm deployment?

I'm sure there are other examples of training, I've not thought of from a maintenance point of view.

Also, the underlying question, with DOGE, is there a risk that we lose the Malcolm project?

We have dozens of videos planned and appreciate the suggestions for them. The production of the videos is a slow process with the size of the team so we'll ask for people's patience as we're able to get to them. There are maybe another 6 or so in production right now.

I know you just gave those as examples, but I might as well address them. We don't have any videos for those topics at the moment, but here's what we do have:

• Using LDAP/Active directory in Malcolm
• Upgrades
  • The upgrade process is a bit of a pain point, there's not a great process for it right now. Especially for Hedgehog. Here's what we do have:
  • upgrading Malcolm (a bit of a manual process)
  • upgrading Hedgehog Linux (a horrendously painfully manual process]
  • we hope to improve the upgrade process this year, here are the issues for Malcolm and Hedgehog that will be tracking that work

As far as the DOGE thing, I'd have to have a crystal ball to answer that question. We have no indications that things are going that way for INL or CISA at the moment, for what it's worth. But I gave up trying to imagine what could happen in politics a long time ago.
