hi im wondering if your ever going to make an mx version of the pinci since it usually cost about 20-30$ for a set of 10 choc switches and mx switches are much cheaper.

I am planning on doing an MX style version, but it probably won't be under "pinci". It may be quite a few months before I get around to it.

Have you checked out the Ferris Sweep. You could use that PCB and then grab one of the pro-micro type boards for the rp2040?

i have seen the ferris sweep
but the pi pico is just the most widly available board for me unlike the kb2040 which would take ages to arrive to New Zealand.

Well, I would love to design an MX variant, but I think it would take me just as long to design a new board as it would to get you something shipped.

Did you checkout Sparkfuns Pro Micro - RP2040?

ye true i might just go with the ferris sweep then, the micro controller does cost a bit more but i can kmk which i find much easier than qmk.
